Manzanita 7th Grade students spent their 2017 spring camping trip at the Presidio of San Francisco learning about local history and ecology.
Highlights of the trip included:
- Ranger-led hikes
- A day at the beach under the Golden Gate bridge
- A night tour of the San Francisco National Cemetery
The theme of this year’s trip was team building. Students worked in tent-groups and camp-groups to set up, maintain and tear down their sites. Overall, it was a wonderful trip with much learning and much cooperation.
